On October 9, 2024, Class III-D, led by their class teacher, Ms. Mamta Rustagi, celebrated Dussehra with the theme “Triumph of Good over Evil.” Out of the 47 students on roll, 44 participated in a series of three engaging presentations, accompanied by 35 creative props. Anchored by Revanth and Naksh, the program included news reading by Shivaay Peelwan and a thought-provoking “Thought of the Day” by Aditya, who emphasized, “Good overpowers the forces of evil, and brings peace and prosperity to us.” Divyanshi shared the Panchang, setting a traditional tone for the event. The first presentation was a Dussehra story performance led by Aashvi and her team, which conveyed the significance of this festival celebrated across India as a symbol of good triumphing over evil. The second presentation, “Throw the Vices,” had students discarding ten identified vices, inspired by Lord Rama's example to live a virtuous life. The entire class sang a melodious English song in the third presentation, reinforcing the theme through music. Ms. Mamta Rustagi concluded the event by sharing a message on the importance of choosing good over evil to bring lasting peace and prosperity to our lives and those around us.
