THEME - WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS DAY
TOPIC - UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTING NEURODIVERSITY
On 2.4.2025, Class 10-B conducted a special assembly to observe World Autism Awareness Day, focusing on the theme "Understanding and Accepting Neurodiversity". The aim was to spread awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and emphasize the importance of inclusion, acceptance, and support for neurodivergent individuals. A skit was presented to illustrate the different minds of autistic individuals in everyday life and how small acts of kindness and understanding can make a big difference. The skit emphasized the need for patience, respect, and inclusivity in schools and society. Students held placards with powerful messages to challenge misconceptions about autism and neurodiversity. The assembly ended with a heartfelt song performance spreading hope and acceptance which beautifully captured the essence of neurodiversity, encouraging everyone to appreciate the uniqueness of every individual.
